Autumn weather officially came to my part of the world whilst I was away, which means I can wear sweaters & jackets & such with abandon. Yay!
What I'm wearing:
Black crocheted duster, Coldwater Creek | Red turtleneck sweater, unknown brand | Black velvet & satin skirt, unknown brand | Black lace tights, Target | Red ankle boots, Aerosoles | Silver book-locket necklace, Forever 21 | Silver medallion earrings, random accessory store | Silver & garnet poison ring, eBay | Painted Love red lipstick, Kat Von D.
For those in the northern hemisphere, are you wearing fall clothes now?
It's summer here, and though I love the warmth I hate the limitations on what I can wear! A
ReplyDeleteI love long cardigans. That looks great over the red top.
Nice cardigan! I have been wearing autumn clothes a long while now. It's ready for winter clothes here. I was saying hooray to your last post when I read it. Too many people buy new clothes and throw away their old ones even if they still are wearable. I always asking myself if there is something I can do with the worn out clothes before I throw/give them away. I mend mine and the childrens clothes several times before giving them up. I can mend clothes without making them look ragged.
ReplyDeleteThat outfit looks very comfortable and just right for fall. Where I am we are rapidly headed for winter weather...fall goes too quickly! Its my favorite season :)
ReplyDeleteThe duster over the red top looks really nice.
ReplyDeleteWe've been flipping between 40s and 70s where I am, so I've had a weird mix of summer & fall clothes. Hopefully we get our last warm weekend this week and I can officially break out the sweaters.
Hexotica - Summer clothes *are* limiting! So glad for the change of seasons.
ReplyDeletelinnea-maria - Thanks for the encouragement.
Snowhyte - We don't have much winter here, so it's more of an extended fall.
LovleAnjel - There may still be some warm weather coming back too, can never tell!
Great duster! It looks great with the red. Alas, I can only wear sweaters with abandon when I'm at home. I get too hot everywhere else. Fall clothes are typically cardigans which I can remove immediately upon entering a building. :P
ReplyDeleteBane - Ah, I'm a HUGE fan of sweaters, maybe it's bec. I run cold?
