What I'm wearing:
Black pixie-point tunic, made by Donna | Black bat-print leggings, Target | Black skull-print scarf, gift from my husband | Black buckle ankle boots, Aldo | Gunmetal hoop earrings, random accessory store | Silver Celtic ring, gift from Lisa
Coincidentally, next Monday is Le Professeur Gothique's Monthly Homework Assignment to wear something you haven't worn in a long time. Given that I repeat items & outfits quite frequently & make a point of trying to wear everything in my wardrobe that fits & is seasonally appropriate (even working some things in across seasons), this is going to be a tough piece of homework!
That outfit looks cozy! I'm obsessed with buying some pixie point patterns, have been looking all over for them.
ReplyDeleteI find that I don't wear my dressy clothes all that often, so maybe an element from a dressier outfit will be something you haven't worn for a while?
Oh, my-I love the play of texture and pattern you have going in that outfit. It's fantastic. And the bat tights are so cute! Do you have a sewing/mending box? I found a blouse I haven't worn in years sitting at the bottom of my mending box, did about two minutes worth of stitching up a hole, and it was good again-and perfectly suited for the homework assignment. That's a good way to motivate yourself to fix things!
ReplyDeleteYep, it's a perfectly comfy outfit - that's why I wear it so often! I wish I could remember what pattern D. used for this tunic, but it's pretty current, so keep looking.
ReplyDeleteI should check my mending pile -- not sure what's in there, bec. a bunch of my hubbi's stuff is on top, LOL.
ReplyDeleteThat scarf is de bomb!
