After waffling so much on whether this dress was really "me," I sure have been wearing it a lot, at least for weekend wear. It's just so darn comfy, & the cut is incredibly flattering. So what if the color isn't automatically my usual thing? I do get plenty of compliments on it. A salesclerk at the mall said the color was very striking contrasted against my black hair. I'll go with that.
What I'm wearing:
Blue knit dress, Ruche.com | Black camisole, Old Navy | Black gladiator sandals, Aldo | Black & skull bead necklace, DisneyLand | Big silver hoop earrings, random accessory store | Black lace headband, random accessory store
Just a nice day off, running errands & such. I'm enjoying the start of my brief vacation!
She's right - striking and bold in the best possible way!
ReplyDeleteThis looks absolutely fabulous on you! It's a wonderful cut and the color is amazing. Adorably sandals, too!
ReplyDeleteSal - Thanks! I may not add more blue, but this dress has already gotten enough wears to prove it's worth.
ReplyDeleteMary Z. - It's taken me 2 summers to admit I kinda do like gladiator sandals. This is my first pair, & they have a kind of fetishy/bondage appeal ;-)
I also have a pair of gladiator sandals, I really love them ^^. The colour look great on you. With a few things, you can make goth a lovely blue dress :).
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful color on you! Sometimes you just have to admit you like wearing a bold colored garment.
ReplyDeleteSuch a vibrant shade on you! It's pretty and I love the v-neck and flowy cut!
