Fall, Please to Be Coming Soon

September is still Indian summer around here, but how I long for a proper autumn! I'm sneaking in a lot of transitional clothes more as a bit of wishful wardrobing than anything else. This works fine for the air-conditioned office, but I usually strip down to shorts & tees when I get home. Soon, soon...

What I'm wearing:
Black handkerchief-hem tunic, made by Donna | Black leggings, Newport News | Black lace-up spool-heel boots, Target | Black & grey skull-print scarf, gift from my husband | Big silver filigree earrings, random accessory store | Skull bead bracelet, gift from my mom

For those of you in the northern hemisphere, are you experiencing fall weather yet? Or does it still feel like summer?

  1. Love those boots and the swirly design on the tunic (as well as the overall shape and cut of the tunic).

I want autumn to come, too ..

  2. This is why goths love Melbourne, Australia--it's tights and jacket weather most of the year, with chilly sunny days, never any snow, and only a handful of really hot days a year (and not even a wet heat!) I love the weather here! Though, I miss the gorgeous American trees in the autumn something terrible. Eucalyptus doesn't change But it sure does small great!)

  4. I love that tunic! It is very flattering on you.

Here in Quebec (Canada), it is starting to be cooler, in the 20 celcius (sorry, the only Farhenheight degrees I know are for cooking and baking). I have started to trade my summer skirts for jeans last week, but it can still get pretty warm.

  7. That tunic ROCKS!!! It's so pretty -- I love the fit on you and that fabric pattern! Very, very nice. And the boots are just too cute.

Here in NYC we are supposed to be getting a cold snap starting tomorrow and throughout the weekend. I, for one, can't wait. The weather is typical for this time of year: warm during the day, cool at night ... but humid. UGH! I'm really looking forward to Autumn! I need a break from all this heat and humidity.

  8. The tunic is so pretty! I love the textural pattern.

We are currently swinging between the low seventies and the high 80s in KC. Tomorrow will be our first day in the 60s and I can't wait! It usually takes until late October to settle down & decide to be autumn.
